Compact and rugged, padKONTROL is an ideal controller for drum/percussion software. The trigger pads feel solid and inspire confidence. Each pad can transmit full dynamics or a fixed value; the X-Y touchpad can be used to create convincing, natural-sounding fills and flams. An assignable footswitch input and two assignable knobs provide even more control. Each pad can also be set to behave as an individual MIDI switch, with momentary or toggle operation. This opens up the padKONTROL to offer transport control over DAW software and other applications. Settings are saved as one of sixteen onboard scenes. Editor/Librarian software is included.
