You get USB and iPad compatibility, plus onboard control of Roland's SuperNATURAL-powered synths. The A-49 also offers plenty of performance control, with assignable knobs and switches, octave and transpose buttons, sustain and expression pedal inputs, and Roland's famous bend/mod lever and D-BEAM controller.
