The TR-1 MIDI Controller is the result of a collaboration between Vestax and DJ Hiroshi Watanabe, one of the pioneers who established laptop-based DJing in Japan. Because this radical MIDI controller has been designed from a professional's point of view, the result is a simple, easy-to-operate, and logical design that has changed the concept of DJ controllers in general. Its compact and durable body design ensures excellent reliability on tour. The TR-1's knobs and switches have been tuned to provide the same touch as a DJ mixer, enabling a DJ to operate the controller with precision. And it's compatible with DJ software, such as the bundled Native Instruments Traktor LE. New soft push switches and smooth 60mm slide input faders promote tireless and high-precision mixing, and the new SHIFT switch feature allows you to assign two different controls to one button while controlling up to four decks at the same time. A USB connection integrates with Mac and Windows PCs, allowing MIDI communication between the controller and software.
